The living room, dining room and stairway are all clear for the Micolosi Brothers. We are having another coat of Polyurethaned slapped on and some light sanding done to the floors. Not in that order of course. So, tomorrow we can repopulate these rooms and get one step closer to living like human beings.

Looking good! This is the second floor? From the parquet, it looks like there may have been more of the walls there. Do you know anything about the history of this part of the house?
Lovely wood floor. I can't take the wall to wall carpet.
Our home and many of the other homes on our block were built as two families. Yes, this is the second floor. Other homes on the block have more original wood detail and pocket doors between the living room and dining room. I believe that is what you are referencing.
