So we are more then 90% done. The kitchen looks great.Back splash is in, it is a green glass, with sea foam green grout. I forget the color of the granite I think it's something like vertigo blue, but it's is a dark blue/green iridescent color.
Joanne (AKA mother in law) came over all weekend and help put the kitchen back together.
What is left to do:
Stain the bay window
The accent trim to molding (rope)
Molding over Microwave
Paint
Saddles
That's pretty much it.

looks great - though i wonder why you didn't go for a double sink and why you didn't put it overlooking the picture window?
Good question, the kitchen is a funny lay out. We had thought for a while to put the sink in the corner next to the window, before the bay window idea, but we had a issue with where the fridge would go, if we went that route the fridge would have to be relocated to the other section of the kitchen, it just would not work. So much goes into planing a kitchen,and the hardest thing is to work with the space you have.
WOW! Can't wait to see it in person. You have worked hard and suffered through a lot (remember when I did my kitchen when you were a teenager). Good for you. See you soon, Grandpa R.
